Popcorn Shed Popcorn Reviewed!

2 April 2019
Ive been on a blogging break AGAIN! I just cant seem to get the hang of the blogging and working full time and working another job! But i am back and hopefully for good this time.

I am starting off my return with a review from The Popcorn Shed i apologise because i did get sent this back in December or maybe even November last year.

I recieved a few small packs so i could try all the different varieties available and then i received two larger sizes packs to enjoy. If you love popcorn then i know you will love this brand, these have such a wide variety of different flavours, so many that i hadn't even tried before.

The flavours: Pop n Choc, Salted Caramel, Pecan Pie, Butterfly Nuts, Berrylicous, Say Cheese and Sweet Chestnuts.

I was most excited to try Say Cheese as I'm a big cheese lover, if your a cheese lover like me then you would love these because they literally don't get any cheesier! Another favourite of mine was the salted caramel, this is the perfect mixture of sweet and savoury! I would definitely repurchase these two again! If you like the mix of sweet and savoury you would also love the Sweet Cheeses flavour as this is the perfect combination, it takes the edge of the cheesiness by adding some sweet caramel. The Pop n Choc was also lovely, but a bit similar to something that i have tried before so nice but nothing new i would recommend try any of the above flavour instead as they are unique flavours.

Now i don't like nuts so i got my mum to try out the Butterly Nuts and she loved it, she definitely recommends this and would buy it again.

Juicy Fuel Cola Review

13 February 2017

Juicy Fuel Cola is a juice made by The Juice Shed Company which started in 2007. The cola is made using real fruit juice in two flavours normal cola and cherry cola and is 100% craft cola. With absolutely no preservatives, no e-numbers, no added sugar and no added sweeteners these are amazing for someone like me who always drinks fizzy drinks. First of all I love the packaging the bright colours make these stand out and I love the tall slim packaging too with each can containing 250ml.

So here is what i though of the two flavours:

Cola
This one is surprisingly similar to coke itself a bit more fruity as to be expected, one thing I loved about this is it didn't feel quite as gassy as normal coke does which is always a benefit as theres nothing worse when its too gassy but at the same time it doesn't loose its fizzy very quickly meaning it doesn't go flat which is a bug bearer for me so Im very happy about this,

Cherry Cola
This one tastes more like cola than the other one but has a strong taste of grape too, the fruit is very prominent in this flavour. Although the do taste like fruit they are still fizzy like coke but so much more refreshing I could imagine drinking these in the sun and it being perfect!

They are available from the following stores: Tesco, Morrisons, Booths, Sainsburys, Waitrose and ASDA.

You can find out more about them here.

Rocky Rice Puffed Rice Cake

8 December 2016

I recently received Rocky Rice puffed rice cake to review. Rocky Rice cakes come in three different flavours;  Milk Chocolate, Chocolate & Orange and Chocolate & Strawberry. Rocky rice is a gluten free indulgent snack that aims to still be healthy, with each bar containing less than 100 calories.  Each of the bars come individually wrapped so are perfect for on the go and for lunches.

Milk Chocolate
These are my favorite out of all the flavours, boring I know but there’s something so nice about the plain milk chocolate with the fluffy light rice cake. Its has a sweet but not too sweet flavor that I’m in love with. These are surprisingly bigger than you would expect as the average rice bar is much smaller.

Chocolate & Orange
These again have the same texture but with the added bonus of a kick of orange, it subtle but its still very much there. If you love orange flavour anything your bound to love these.

Chocolate & Strawberry
Again as you can guess this one has the same consistency as the rest but with a added strawberry flavour so your favourite with be very much depending on your personal preference.

These are not available to buy in the super markets but are available to buy online here.

You can find more about Rocky Rice here.

propercorn, Smooth Peanut & Almond, Fiery Worcester & Sun-Dried Tomato, Sweet Coconut & Vanilla, Sweet & Salty, Sour Cream & Black Pepper, Lightly Sea Salted,

Proper corn very kindly sent me some popcorn and when i opened the very colourful treasure chest like box and it had so many packets in it I was like woahhh! There were so many flavours that i had never heard of before too so I was very excited to try out these new flavours, i KK five different flavours to try including:

Lightly Sea Salted- These were as they said only lightly salted they weren't strong in flavour really just tasted like there was a sprinkle of salt over the packet but still pleasant as a light bite.

Sour Cream & Black Pepper- These were my second favourite out them all, the black pepper was quite prominent in this flavour and the sour cream gave a creamy flavour to them there just so nice and so different to any popcorn that I have ever tried before.

Sweet & Salty- This is my favourite flavour its more sweet than salty but you can taste the bitterness of the salt coming through and it makes the nicest flavour, I'm literally eating these as I am writing this, literally these are my new obsession I would go as far as to say that its better than the popcorn you get in the cinema.

Sweet Coconut & Vanilla- Straight away opening this packet you smell the flavour its very strong in both flavour which an be a bit overpowering but both flavours come through to great a really nice combination.

Fiery Worcester & Sun-Dried Tomato- This one is as you would expect very strong in tomato flavour, but the Worcester gives it almost a heat and makes it spicy in a weird way but it works well together.

Smooth Peanut & Almond- the peanut flavour is definitely the most dominate flavour in this packet as the almond helps to keep it a kick but definitely is very strong in flavour. Again this one has a very creamy flavour to it.

Overall there would be two of the flavours I would 100% buy again because I love which are the Sweet & Salty and the Sour Cream & Black Pepper as they are amazing and I would definitely recommend.

Degusta Box- July

12 August 2016

So if you read my blog regularly you will know that I get a Degusta box every month to review on my blog and this month was no different, so i am going to review the products I received in this months box!

Rowntrees Fruit Pastilles Fusions- these are the same concept as the original Fruit Pastilles but they have three fusions; orange & grapefruit, Raspberry & Pomegranate, Apple & Elderflower. They were very fruity and tasty but there isn't as much variety in a normal pack of fruit pastilles.

Alo Drink- This drink contains real Aloe Vera so obviously has lots of benefits, and makes a great drink for whilst at the gym although this is on the more expensive side at £2.45 a bottle.

Jordans Muesli- in the previous boxes I have seen this muesli but this was swiss flavoured which contained wheat flakes, oats, raisins and almonds all containing natural ingredients for a hearty breakfast.

Itsu Crispy Seaweed Thins- personally i don't like seaweed but for those that do I will talk about this anyway these are packed full of goodness and are priced at £1 per pack, these  super thin seaweed make a great on the go snack.

Bahlsen Choco Leibniz Biscuits- I love these biscuits, they are priced at 40p per pack and contain two biscuits on each pack. They have a smoke like chocolate on one side and biscuit on the other and are perfect for tea dipping.

Seabrook Crisp- These are lattice crisp in a chorizo flavour, these are one of two new flavours that have been brought out, and are priced at £1.99 each.

Rejuvenation Water- this is a amino aid enchried water, i received the orange flavour in my box which was lovely the water itself is quite weak in flavour but still nice none the less, this is meant to help with stress, anxiety and also help a hangover if drunk before your alcohol intake.

Cracker Drinks- i was sent the coconut, lime and pineapple flavour. These contain no added sugar or sweetness and provides you with one of your five a day. These are priced at £1.50 each which is pretty standard.

Brookside Chocolates- These are blueberry flavoured dark chocolate with a soft centre but rich in flavour these are on the expensive side at £3.40 each.

Yushio Rice Snacks

20 July 2016
RICE, rice snacks, yushio, soy&balsamic vinegar, lightly salted,RICE, rice snacks, yushio, soy&balsamic vinegar, lightly salted,

I was sent over a big box of Yushoi  Snapea Rice snacks to review in numerous flavours including Soy &Balsamic Vinegar, Sweet Chilli & Lemon, Lightly Salted and Smoked Salt & Szechaun Pepper. These are free from nuts and dairy making them great for everyone.

The first thing you notice about these snacks is the colour, they are literally bright green and yes I'm kicking myself for not taking a photo. They are made from rice and green pea, hence the green colour. All of the flavours have a very light feeling to them

Soy & Balsamic Vinegar- this is effectively salt and vinegar to me i always think salt and vinegar is a tangy flavour, and these taste exactly like you would expect.

Sweet Chilli & Lemon- These are the most flavoursome of all of these as there flavour is the strongest, there is a instant zap of tangy and zest with this flavour and its almost like a sweet flavour and the little bit of chilli adds a kick to the flavour making it more fiery.

Lightly Salted- the lightly salted flavour taste lightly flavoured with salt so aren't too over powering they just have there natural taste with hint of salt.

Smoked Salt & Szechaun Pepper- in this flavour the pepper is very prominent as you would expect this gives the flavour to this snack but it also has a barbecue flavour to it.

These are available from: Tesco, Morrisons, Amazon, Co-op, Ocado, Selfridges and Whole Foods.
