InStyler hair tools review

18 February 2018

So todays post is in collaboration with InStyler, they are online retailer and are also stocked in Boots and Argos. They have a wide range of amazing hair tools that you should definitely check out if your'e in to hair styling!!
inStyler max, inStyler inStyler glossie

InStyler GLOSSIE
inStyler max, inStyler, InSTYLER glossier
This InStyler Glosssie tool is a styling brush, so it can style and brush your hair at the same time, how convenient! Its so easy to use, simply just turn it on with one button put your hair in-between and brush like normal, it gives the same effect as normal hair straighteners and make my hair look perfectly straight, I think this would be perfect for anyone with frizzy hair as it brushes at the same time. One thing I love about this is how lightweight it is, makes it so easy to use!  Also if your forgetful or paranoid that you are going to leave them switched on then these will be great because the automatically turn off!
These are available to buy for £59.99!

InStyler MAX
inStyler max, inStyler

inStyler max, inStyler

This InStyler MAX is my favourite of the two hair tools, this is very versatile allowing you to create, straight, wavy and curly hair! You simply wrap a section of your hair around the barrel and push the tong together where the barrel will then rotate to give your a curly or wavy look or you can simply place your hair in-between the barrel and brush to straighten! This product is usually priced at £89.99 but is on sale at the moment £69.99 which i think is a bargain with you being able to do so much with one tool.

What hair tools do you love?

My Kind Of Book Review

20 December 2016

So today I received a huge box of goodies, your probably wondering what for. This box was a collaboration with My Kinda Book and Pan Macmillan where they sent a box full of goodies for you to be able to have a party with all your goodies and have a chance to discuss all of the books, so kind of an amazing book club! In this parcel where some amazing goodies such as Soap and Glory hand food and there chubby stick blush, notepads, pencils, candle etc.. you can see all above. I was really excited and overwhelmed by everything in the box as I didn't think there would be six of everything enabling you to give them to all the guest at your party, how amazing!!!

The three books that were in the box where:

Beautiful Broken Things-
"Best friends Caddy and Rosie are inseparable. Their differences have brought them closer, but as she turns sixteen Caddy begins to wish she could be a bit more like Rosie - confident, funny and interesting. Then Suzanne comes into their lives: beautiful, damaged, exciting and mysterious, and things get a whole lot more complicated. As Suzanne's past is revealed and her present begins to unravel, Caddy begins to see how much fun a little trouble can be. But the course of both friendship and recovery is rougher than either girl realizes, and Caddy is about to learn that downward spirals have a momentum of their own."

My verdict: Although I'm yet to read this book as I was only sent this box this week this book seems really interesting, getting into the depth of teenage friendship whilst adding a touch of mystery. Also the cover on this book is like my favourite book cover ever, it so wold stand out on a bookshelf its so pretty!

Fangirl-
"Cath is a Simon Snow fan.

But for Cath, being a fan is her life—and she’s really good at it. She and her twin sister, Wren, ensconced themselves in the Simon Snow series when they were just kids; it’s what got them through their mother leaving.

Reading. Rereading. Hanging out in Simon Snow forums, writing Simon Snow fan fiction, dressing up like the characters for every movie premiere.

Cath’s sister has mostly grown away from fandom, but Cath can’t let go. She doesn’t want to.

Now that they’re going to college, Wren has told Cath she doesn’t want to be roommates. Cath is on her own, completely outside of her comfort zone. She’s got a surly roommate with a charming, always-around boyfriend, a fiction-writing professor who thinks fan fiction is the end of the civilized world, a handsome classmate who only wants to talk about words... And she can’t stop worrying about her dad, who’s loving and fragile and has never really been alone.

For Cath, the question is: Can she do this?"

My verdict: This books is the most interesting to me, I'm a twin myself so I cant wait to start reading this one as I think its going to very interesting and give a insight about what its really like to have a twin and having to grow up as a teenager in the 21st century.

The Lie Tree-
"The Lie Tree is a wonderfully evocative and atmospheric novel by Frances Hardinge, award-winning author of Cuckoo Song andFly By Night.
Faith's father has been found dead under mysterious circumstances, and as she is searching through his belongings for clues she discovers a strange tree. The tree only grows healthy and bears fruit if you whisper a lie to it. The fruit of the tree, when eaten, will deliver a hidden truth to the person who consumes it. The bigger the lie, the more people who believe it, the bigger the truth that is uncovered.
The girl realizes that she is good at lying and that the tree might hold the key to her father's murder, so she begins to spread untruths far and wide across her small island community. But as her tales spiral out of control, she discovers that where lies seduce, truths shatter . . ."

My verdict: This book sounds the most mysterious out of all three it sounds like the book will take you on a adventure and be a enchanting tale of truth. Im really looking forward to reading this one as its so different to the other two.

Overall Im so happy with the box I recieved and I cant wait to start reading all of the books, there will be book reviews of all of the books up on my blog as soon as I've finished reading them all.

Bath and Body Works Candles!

2 November 2016

Ive wanted to try Bath and Body Works candles for so so long so I was so exited to finally be able to get these to the UK using the shipping service My Mall Box, I got three different candles and two hand sanitisers.

This is the Autumn Sunshine candle, first of all I love this the look of this candle its basically Autumn in a jar, the lid has a leaf imprint on it too which is adorable! This candle claims to smell like this 'Chilled Orange, California Mandarin, Golden Amber, Green Fir Needle' and it was very similar to this, it smells very orangey and fresh almost like fresh air but its not overly powerful scent which I like.

Again this is a Autumnal candle called Crisp Morning Air, I love the look of this candle its very cute and its perfect for this season. This claims to smell like the following 'Crisp Fall Breeze, White Oak, Golden Amber Wood, Saffron, Soft Sandalwood'. This smells very fresh as if your walking through a park on a fresh crisp morning so quite a good match to its name really.

This one isn't on the website anymore probably to make way for the Christmas candles but hopefully it will make a return in the spring/ summer season because this is on of my favourites. The packaging is so cute, it has the cutest design around the whole of the candle unlike most of there other candles. This candle is a very fresh, relaxing candle. It smells like your at the sea so it is more of summery scent.

This candle is called A Thousand Wishes, this isn't a Autumn candle but it looked and sounded super cute so I thought I would pick it up anyway. This candle claims to smell like 'Warm your heart with a festive blend of sparkling champagne, crystal peonies & almond crème'. I have to admit this candle doesn't smell like I thought it would, although its meant to smell like peonies I didn't think it would be as sweet as it is because I have a other peonie candle and its not sweet.

The shipping using My Mall Box is so simple, you simply register on the website where you are given your own personal American address where you can send your parcels to, so I just checked out as normal using this address. You then get a email from My Mall Box when they receive your parcel and you are prompted to go online and enter your address and select your shipping option. I didn't have a choice which shipping service I used because my parcel was so heavy as you can imagine for six candles in total, so I had to select DHL express service which cost me $60 which I know does seem expensive but this is purely because it was candles and weighed so heavy, if you were ordering something such as makeup you would be able to pick from a number of different delivery options some which are much cheaper. Once I had done this I simply checked out and that was it, I then recived a email when my parcel got dispatched from My Mall Box and this took around 2 days to be dispatched, once dispatched the parcel came within three days. All in all the whole process took around 10 days to come which I think is very good considering it came from America.

My Mall Box make the whole process simple and I would definitely recommend them to anyone look to ship products over from America.

You can find My Mall Box here.

P.s if you sign up here you get $5 dollars added to your shipping account!

Flo Accessories

18 October 2016

flo accessories, atomiser, tweezers, led tweezers,

flo accessories, atomiser, tweezers, led tweezers,

I recently got the opportunity to work with Flo Accessories, if you've never heard of them which I hadn't before working with them they are a travel and beauty accessories, they have some great little things including the light up tweezes, light up mirror and perfume atomiser. I was lucky enough to receive the perfume atomiser and the light up tweezers.

The first one I will talk about will the LED tweezers, I loved the idea of these straight away it means that you can see the hairs that you ordinarily wouldn't have or if your like me and uses your phone touch behind a mirror there is no longer a need for this. I have literally loved using these so far, I don't have anything bad to say but they are battery operated so you will have replace these every once in a while.

The other thing I received was the perfume atomiser, this has come in so handy already. I travel a lot to Ireland and only take a cabin suitcase so i cant bring my big bottle of perfume but in this case it means that I can transfer some of my favourite perfume into a smaller bottle. It comes with instructions on how to do this which is so simple it literally takes a minute. So yeah these are amazing and come in so handy.

How to stay cozy this Autumn!

10 October 2016

I thought I would put together a little post about the things I think are amazing for your house to keep warm and cozy throughout the autumn and winter season. There's nothing better than stepping into your house after being in the freezing cold and stepping into a warm, cozy house and I'm going to share the ways help achieve this.

Door curtains
These are something that I've only just found out about but are amazing for this time of year. They are designed simply to go in front of the door to keep out any draughts that come under your door, amazing right? This is also perfect for anyone who has a front door in their living room and want to cover it up and you would just look like it is a window behind. I just think these are amazing to keep in the heat in all your rooms and keep your electricity bills down in the colder months. In my house these would be perfect for the conservatory as the conservatory is one place that gets really cold so having something that will cut off the cold from getting in the rest of the house is perfect. You can find door curtains in Yorkshire Linen range here. These one are available for as little as £19.99 which seems to be very affordable and a investment for in the long run. Also Harry Corry do a lovely range of door curtains in alternative colours which can be found here.

Blankets
For me blankets and throws are an essential for this time of year, I take them all round the house with me not only do they look pretty at the end of your bed but they keep you supper cozy. There's nothing better on a cold night than sitting with your blanket over you all cozy and warm and theres some super cute blankets out there. You can find this one here.

Bedding
Bedding is an important part of staying cozy, not only is it amazing to have a nice thick duvet to keep you all warm the duvet cover is very important. Picking greys, oranges and browns are very autumnal and having a duvet cover in these colours is amazing to keep it seasonal. Not only do they keep it seasonal they help to create a cozy atmosphere, add a few candles and you've got your perfect cozy room.  You can find this one here.

How do you stay cozy in Autumn?

Whats In My Bag DONE

I thought i would share with you all whats in my bag as they are very popular post and yet one i have never ever done. First of all this bag is from Floriell i got it last year from a outlet, I'm not going to lie ever since the shop has been there i have got one every time I visit, literally every time.

So heres whats is actually in my bag:

Origins Lip Balm- I always take a lip balm in my bag as they always come in handy and theres nothing worse than walking round with dry lips and having nothing to put on them and this one by Origins is amazing I've been loving trying it out recently, definitely a handbag essential especially in the winter seasons.

Nyx Matte Lipstick- I always have a lipstick in my bag usually its the one I'm wearing that day incase I have to re apply but if I'm not wearing one I still make sure I always have one with me as you never know when you will need them. This Nyx matte lipstick is a perfect dark pink colour for the winter season

Powerbank and Phone Charger- I literally don't go anywhere and I mean anywhere without these, this power bank has 200% charge with it and its essential for days out or when I'm in uni as my phone battery literally never lasts me all day.

Zara Perfume-This little perfume is perfect for my handbag, its tiny so fits in any bag and its great to keep you topped up when your out all day and you know sometimes when you feel like you could do with a freshen up.

Body Shop Hand Cream- I love this hand cream it smells amazing and its so soft on your skin, its perfect to keep in your bag especially in winter as sometimes I tend to get rough and dry skin.

Ted Baker Purse- A purse is a pretty obvious essential but I take my Ted Baker purse everywhere with me, I should really get a smaller one because when I only have a small bag this literally takes us all of the room.

Keys- Again another pretty obvious one, keys. You always need your keys in your bag to save yourself getting locked out which has happened to me quite a few times.

Whats your handbag essentials?

Driving Lessons

18 July 2016

driving, car, driving lessons
Source: Google

Driving Lessons are something that i am always thinking about the day i turned 16 i promised myself that i would do my driving lessons but being the lazy person i am i had no job so i just couldn't fund this. As time went on this sadly became less of a priority for some reason, looking back this is so stupid i had so much free time to do them. Right now I'm currently still jobless as i am at university, still no excuse i know but I am living at home so this means that i actually have a lot of money spare from my student loan so I'm contemplating starting my driving lessons this September, actually scrap that i have to make a promise to myself that i will start my driving lessons or i never will.
For someone like me i literally wouldn't know were to start with driving lessons, it seems like a scary prospect, getting in a car with a stranger with all those buttons not having a clue were to start but i think thats just my negative and worry coming out. Although i wish i had done my driving lessons when i was 16, i am now nearly 20 and i still think its a great age to learn, i don't want to end up leaving it any longer as why not have the skill and independence to drive now?

In my opinion from friends and family that i have seen do and pass there driving lessons they have all had a great experience and loved the freedom it brings from being able to drive as it no longer means you are reliant on anyone else to be your personal transport so i honestly cant wait to start my driving lessons.

I have recently discovered a new site (book learn pass)  that makes the whole process a lot easier, it enables you to be able to book driving lessons in your local area, book intense driving courses, book your theory test, access tip. So its a great help for anyone thats starting there driving lessons or like me doesn't have a clue were to start!
